If you cancel less than 48 hours before the start of your appointment, or no show, you will be charged for 50% of your service reservation, regardless of the reason for cancellation (illness, injury, bad weather, transportation problems, childcare issues, etc.). I allow a 10 minute late window during busy season (February through September) and a 15 minute late window during slow season (October through January). This protects my livelihood. Without this income protection it will be unaffordable for me to continue what I do. Instead of viewing this fee as "paying for something you didn't receive" please view it as a way to show your respect and appreciation for my time and the services I provide to you, as well as a commitment to the sustainability of my business. When you schedule an appointment, I agree to hold that spot for you. In return, you agree to pay me for that time. Ideally, you will receive your services, but if you cancel with less than 48 hours notice and I cannot fill that spot, then you agree to wilingly pay me 50% of my time that you reserved.
